Chess comments and Question!

A grandmaster once told me that when a chess player reaches the level of 1800 he stops leaving pieces unprotected. The same grandmaster said that all that seperates an 1800 player from a 1500 player are the level of tactics and abiltiy to see patterns.

Rangers Lack Scoring Power against Bruins!

The NY Rangers are already down 2 games in the semi's to the Boston Bruins!  They are not a strong enough offensive scoring team to get past the Bruins. They don't have enough offensive power to win the Stanley Cup this year. Still, I hope for some respectability against the Bruins!

Knicks are finally eliminated but congratulations for an exciting year!

The knicks were final defeated by the Indiana Pacers in 6 games. After considering this for a while, I feel that the season was a success.  Carmelo Anthony had  a very good season. I believe the Knicks were only one more solid scorer from going deeper into the playoffs. Anyway, no one is going to beast the Miami Heat this year. I will give credit to Mr. Hibbard for very good performances against the knicks.

Knicks Jeckle or Hyde!

The knicks should make up their mind and decide whether they want to play as a team like they did in Game 2 of the Pacer Series or Game one where they don't come out to play at all and can't hit the broad side of the barn.

Knicks Update!

The Knicks are scaring people again, They have lost game 5 convincingly. Carmelo Anthony missed two many shots again, and Jr Smith could not hit the broad side of the barn.  Everyone is hoping that the Knicks will come ready to win game 6 and close out the Celtics.  Stay tune for further updates!
